What is Tessera?
Tessera is an open-source private transaction manager developed under the Apache 2.0 license and written in Java. The primary application of Tessera is as the privacy manager for privacy-enabled Ethereum clients such as GoQuorum and Hyperledger Besu.
What can you do with Tessera?
Tessera:
Generates and maintains private/public key pairs.
Self-manages and discovers all nodes in the network.
Provides an API for communicating between Tessera nodes and with privacy-enabled Ethereum clients.
Provides two-way SSL using TLS certificates and various trust models such as trust on first use (TOFU), allowlist, and certificate authority.
Supports IP allowlist.
Connects to any SQL DB which supports the JDBC client.
